Testing Your Connector Using Clay Tablet Demo Files

After you use this SDK to build your Connector, you can use two Clay Tablet Technologies demo files to test it.

There is one demo file to test a Content Connector, and there is another demo file to test a Translation Connector. These files are part of the SDK for Java package. Both demo files are built with Eclipse.

  1. Unzip the relevant package (..\CTT Java-SDK\samples\.project) to a local folder, and then import the project into Eclipse.

Note: Currently a demo file is available only to test a Content Connector. If you want to test a Translation Connector, please contact Clay Tablet Support, as described below.

  1. Contact Clay Tablet Technologies to create a test account so that you can run the demo projects. For details, see How to Contact Clay Tablet Support.

Along with the test account, Clay Tablet Technologies also provides the source.xml and target.xml files.

  1. Do one of the following:
  • In your Eclipse project, copy these files into the Accounts folder under the main resource.
  • In the file system, copy these files into the /src/main/resources/accounts folder.

You can now test how your Connector sends and receives files for translation.
